CompTIA Security+ Certification

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The CompTIA Security+ Certification Course is designed to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in cybersecurity, information security, threat management, security architecture, security operations, risk management, and governance. The programme covers essential cybersecurity concepts, including security controls, authentication, cryptography, vulnerabilities, threat actors, attack techniques, network security, identity and access management, incident response, and data protection.
The course equips learners with the technical, analytical, operational, and risk-management competencies required to identify, prevent, detect, and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. It prepares learners for entry-level and developing professional roles in cybersecurity, IT security, network security, security operations, vulnerability management, incident response, and related information technology functions across private companies, government institutions, financial organisations, NGOs, and other technology-driven environments.
CERTIFICATION
Upon successful completion of the programme and the required CompTIA Security+ examination, learners can earn the CompTIA Security+ certification from CompTIA. This globally recognised cybersecurity certification demonstrates foundational competence in security concepts, threats and vulnerabilities, security architecture, security operations, identity and access management, incident response, risk management, and security governance. It prepares learners for professional opportunities in cybersecurity, IT security, security operations, network security, vulnerability management, and related information technology fields, as well as further professional development in cybersecurity.
